• Provides out-of-town families a place to
• stay while a family member or loved one
• is hospitalized in one of the area's hospitals
• Serves Covenant HealthCare, St. Mary's of
• Michigan, Aleda E. Lutz Veterans Affairs Medical
• Center and HealthSource hospitals on a first
• come, first served basis
• Is located less than 10 minutes from each of
• the area hospitals
• Offers comfortable living, dining, kitchen and
• laundry facilities
• Funding comes entirely from guest, individual,
• church and •corporate contributions, if you would

• Receives donations of paper products, cleaning goods and
• other staples from church and civic organizations
• Will produce more than 7,000 overnight
• accommodations to guests in the coming year
• Can accommodate up to 44 guests per night
• Is supervised by a volunteer board of directors
• Is staffed by an administrator, house supervisors and
• evening hospitality managers


• Are admitted on a first come, first served basis
• Are referred by hospital social workers,
• chaplains, nurses and physicians
• May stay for 21 days, then will be asked to check out for a period of 7 days to allow more families the housing opportunity
• Are asked to make a donation per night based on what they are able to afford.
