HHH of Saginaw is a “home-away-from-home” for out-of-town families and patients receiving medical treatment in one of our area hospitals. Open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, we provide lodging and a network of care to families in need.

Hospital Hospitality House is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization supported by the generosity of guests, individuals, businesses and foundations. Opened in 1984, HHH has accommodated more than 70,000 people.

Overnight accommodations are available for up to 44 guests between our two house locations, as well as day use for families needing to rest during the day. The newly opened McNally House on the campus of Covenant HealthCare has 16 bedrooms with private bathrooms in each of the rooms. The watercolor rendering of the McNally House, featured on the left, was painted by local artist Susie McColgan. Each of our houses also offer kitchens and laundry facilities, family visiting areas and a relaxing patio and garden area - with freshly planted flowers and a new planter donated in memory of Elfriede Dutz. Our Emerson Hospitality House is conveniently located on the campus of St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital and provides a home away from home for up to 10 guests per night.

Any out-of-town relative of a patient hospitalized in one of the Saginaw area hospitals may stay at a HHH. Special arrangements may also be made for patients to stay at a Hospitality House. Guests are referred through physician offices, social workers, ministers or nursing staff at the area hospitals. Guests are asked for a donation per night. This donation doesn’t cover the full cost of a night’s stay, but helps toward operational expenses. For guests who are unable to pay this amount, arrangements may be made with the office. Guests are accepted on a first come, first served basis. If you live more than 20 miles from the hospital and are an adult relative or support person for the patient, you may stay at HHH.

We limit the use of HHH to two people per patient and one room per family. On a pre-arranged basis, the patient may be allowed to stay at the house.
