Our doors are open to guests who live outside of Saginaw and are either a patient or have a loved one receiving medical treatment at one of six Saginaw hospitals. Our aim is to offer a peaceful retreat where you can find strength and comfort during your medical journey.
Our room rate is modestly set at $40 per night. However, we strongly believe that everyone deserves access to our services, no matter their financial situation. For those unable to pay the full rate, applications for a reduced rate can be completed for consideration.
As an independent non-profit organization, we operate solely through the generosity of our community. We are not owned by any of the hospitals and depend on donations from businesses, foundations, grateful guests, hospitals, and individuals. Every dollar donated to us goes directly into providing comfort and support to our guests.
Our two warm and welcoming locations, the Emerson Hospitality House and the McNally Hospitality House, collectively offer over 475 nights of restful sleep every month. Since our inception in 1984, we have facilitated over 198,000 overnight stays for guests in need.
In 2022 alone, we had the privilege to serve 1,215 patients and their families hailing from 64 counties in Michigan and 28 different states. Our reach is global – we have been a home away from home for guests from Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Korea, England, and Australia.
